I found this on Twitter today, and it’s perfect, encapsulating as it does how a lot of us still think about mental illness. If we want to stamp out the stigmas surrounding mental health, we first need to reshape the way we talk about it; that’s something small each one of us can do in order to help the one in five Canadians who suffer from some sort of mental disorder. I’m gonna be doing some writing about relearning how to talk about mental health for the Partners for Mental Health Right By You campaign. Keep your eyes on this space!
